Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Pick out your darkest petticoats ladies because Seth Grahame- Smith and Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a classic zombie novel unlike any other.
The usual cast of characters, The Bennetts, Darcys and Bingleys play social roulette amongst themselves with an additional twist of zombie dodging. The zombies are referred to as the “Unmentionables” or the “Undesirables”. These unfortunate beings are victims of a deadly disease. Symptoms include being dead and devouring human beings.
The disease can easily be passed on to those who do not perish in an attack. Therefore, the thirst for untainted blood carries on. And on.
The Bennett slash Bingley slash Darcy dance commences per usual in the original Pride and Prejudice as does most other Pride and Prejudice occurrences. The changes are that an occasional blood sloshing occurs and ladies are now judged on their warrior attributes in addition to dowries, breeding and the like.
Lace up your corsets but not too tight. A lady must be ready fight. Definitely fun, seasonal and worth your time.
